About SwiftStore
An alternative iOS marketplace for the EU, built around apps that keep their intelligence on the phone.
Why we built it
When the EU's Digital Markets Act opened iOS to alternative app marketplaces, most of the conversation was about payments and fees. We were more interested in a different question: what kind of apps would you build if you stopped sending everything to a server?
The answer, for us, is small apps that do their thinking locally. They download in seconds, work on a train with no signal, and never ship your data off the device. SwiftStore is where we collect them.
The bar for getting in
Every app we mark "SwiftStore Certified" runs its AI fully on-device. No round-trips to a cloud model, no telemetry riding along with it. We measure each app's local inference latency and binary size, and we publish those numbers on its page so you can see what you are getting.
